If taking prescription medication, or if in doubt, consult your Healthcare Professional. People with hyperparathyroidism or chronic kidney disease should only take Calcium supplements under medical supervision. Calcium supplementation is contraindicated in hypercalcaemia. Those with sarcoidosis should not take Vitamin D without consulting a physician. Vitamin K2 is not to be taken by those on blood thinning medication.
